“What Are You Reading Now?” Book Round-Up
June 7, 2018
During April and May, I had the amazing opportunity to travel around Lackawanna County and ask readers what they were reading at that moment. The program, “What Are You Reading Now?” gave me an opportunity to chat with people just like me – readers who love talking about their books, showing pictures of their libraries at home, and shoving bits of paper with book recommendations into hands and purses. I came away with hundreds of book recommendations, different authors to try, and email addresses from new bookish friends. Below I’ve linked the book recommendations from the Abington discussion and will link the other books from the library discussions in the future. With SummerQuest coming up (be on the lookout at your local library!), now is the perfect time to try out some of these books and get outside your reading comfort zone. As always, happy reading!
