Photos of” What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night” @ the Library

The popular children’s book, “What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night,” is the subject of an exhibit at the Everhart Museum through the end of December. Authors Refe and Susan Tuma wrote the book after convincing their children that, while they sleep, their plastic dinosaur figures come to life. Each morning their children woke to the overnight antics of the toy dinosaurs as they created mischief, mayhem, and magic in the Tuma household.

That got some librarians wondering what dinosaur models in the library did after hours. These photos tell the tale.

Some Lackawanna County Libraries held special dinosaur story times during November – what we called “Dinovember” – to coincide with the Everhart exhibit.

It’s one more example of the things that are always happening at Lackawanna County Libraries. Check the Events Calendar to see what’s happening at your Library.

No telling what sort of mischief they could get into, but the hidden camera gives you a pretty good idea.

Dino-4

At least the little beasts like to read, apparently. Or do dinosaurs eat paper?

So that’s where the candy is going!
