Your Summer Quest Begins Here!
The Lackawanna County Children’s Library is introducing a NEW and EXCITING Summer Program for kids, Summer Quest! This year, we are combining many different aspects of early learning into unique challenges throughout the summer months. We are challenging young learners to prevent the summer slide by staying active through reading, social, and physical activities.
Here’s How It Works!
This year, our program carries the theme of Music—LIBRARIES ROCK!
When you register, you’ll receive a booklet in which you will find music notes to help you have a fun and adventurous summer. Each note holds a challenge for you to complete. Once you complete a challenge, use crayons or markers to color in that note. Challenges may be completed in any order. Bring the booklet back to the library after completing 10, 20, 30 and all 40 challenges. Program ends August 3rd.
