Kids Winter Reading Challenge: Catch a Dragon by the Tale @ North Pocono Public Library

All children from Birth-Grade 5 are invited to join the fun and sign up for the
Winter Reading Challenge @ North Pocono Public Library!

Grab a Dragon Bingo sheet at the library to participate.

Read (or be read to) and complete the activities to earn prizes!

Don’t forget to register for the Winter Reading Challenge Party
that will be held on Friday, March 2nd @ 3:30 pm.

Harry Potter Fan Art Submissions Open @ Abington Community Library

In anticipation of the Abington Business & Professional Association’s Wizarding World of Ice Festival (February 16-18), students are encouraged to create their interpretations of Harry Potter and his world and submit them to the Library. Submissions will be accepted during the month of January and be on display for the month of February.

Work will be accepted in the following media: painting, drawing, photography, and 3-D works. Submissions should be no larger than   8 X10 and matted and framed, if possible. Students may get help with framing and matting from the Library.

Submission forms are available at the Library. Open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Pre-K Story Time @ Lackawanna County Children's Library

CalThis 3 session story time includes stories, fingerplays, a puppet show, and a simple craft and is geared for Pre- K children, ages 3 to 5!

Registration is required. To register, click the green button above, or call (570) 348-3000, ext. 3015.

Registration will be for all 3 sessions.

 To cancel your registration, even if it is for one session, please call to notify us.

In the case of poor weather conditions, we follow the discretion of the Scranton School District in determining program cancellation.

DELAY: No AM programming.

EARLY DISMISSAL: No PM programming.

CLOSE: No programming for the day.
