Technology Lab

The Technology Lab is located on the lower level of the Lackawanna County Children’s Library at 520 Vine Street, Scranton, PA  18509. Patrons may attend the programs below for help with their digital devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, or eReaders.

Tech Table takes place each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5PM-7PM on the second floor of the Albright Memorial Library. Patrons should bring specific questions about a technical problem or an issue they are having while using their smartphones, tablets, or laptops. This can include trouble with an app, slow or malfunctioning technology, or questions about settings, privacy, or security. No registration is required; however, appointments will be limited to 20-minute sessions, and patrons will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Technology Lab Open Hours are available for patrons who need more in-depth, individualized assistance. This type of help may include support with setting up a new device, learning how to navigate your device or how to use a specific program, or general technology questions. Open lab hours are held in the Technology Lab on the lower level of the Lackawanna County Children’s Library some Mondays and Wednesdays from 2PM-4PM. Priority is given to any patron who has made an appointment to come in for help during open lab hours, but walk-ins are welcome.
