Earth Science Camp: Volcanism and Tectonics

July 22 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

This summer, we’re going to rock and roll out with a special set of afternoon experiments all about earth science! We’ll learn how rocks form, how tornadoes work, how to measure an earthquake, and even take an up-close look at real fossils. Working outdoors and indoors, we’ll compare both our local stones and those from 400 million years into the past. This program is for young scientists aged 6 to 11 to learn more about how our planet works. This program was made possible by a grant supporting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics from Peoples Security Bank & Trust.
