The Valley Community Library is excited to host our Teen Volunteer Club. This is an opportunity for teens to earn community service hours, share their thoughts on teen programing and space, and socialize with new friends while building a resume. Teens will work with library staff on a variety of tasks that are needed for the library to run smoothly and aid our amazing programs. Interested teens should fill out a Teen Volunteer Application. For all volunteers or presenters ages 14 and older we require their PA Criminal Background Check (available to be filled out at https://epatch.pa.gov/home) and a copy of a valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance (available to be printed from or filled out at compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home). This paperwork should be turned in at the front desk of the Library. Registration is required for each Teen Volunteer Club meeting so we can plan for the number of volunteers we will have and make sure we have the paperwork needed ahead of time.
Teen Volunteer Club will meet on Tuesday, August 19 at 4:00 and volunteers should plan to stay for a minimum of one hour, volunteers who wish to can stay for 2 hours total.
