Genealogy Research at home
March 31, 2020
Genealogy is a great way to learn more about your family and history at the same time.
The library have two genealogy tools that can be used remotely during our closure.
Search your family history with a large variety of data bases including U.S. Census records, court, land and probate documents, military records, church rolls, city directories and steamship passenger lists. This service is usually only available while visiting the library, but we have been granted temporary remote access. You will need to know your library card number and pin to log into the My Account feature to gain access to the link.
Don’t know your pin? You can reset it or request it from staff.
HeritageQuest® is a comprehensive genealogy resource which contains unique primary sources, local and family histories, convenient research guides, interactive census maps, and more.
