The Technology Lab is located on the lower level of the Lackawanna County Children’s Library at 520 Vine Street, Scranton, PA 18509. Patrons may use the services below for help with their digital devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, or eReaders.
Tech Table takes place each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the second floor of the Albright Memorial Library. Patrons should bring specific questions about a technical problem or an issue they are having while using their smartphones, tablets, or laptops. This can include trouble with an app, slow or malfunctioning technology, or questions about settings, privacy, or security. No registration is required; however, appointments will be limited to 20-minute sessions, and patrons will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Patrons who need more in-depth, individualized assistance may schedule a one-on-one appointment. This type of help may include support with setting up a new device, learning how to navigate your device or how to use a specific program, or general technology questions. For more information on our programs and services or to schedule a one-on-one consultation, call us at 570-348-3000, ext. 3038 or by email at complab@albright.org.
The Technology Lab also hosts the Library’s Makerspace, which includes 3D printing services. Visit the Makerspace page for more information.
