Start Borrowing from the Library Again
Service is now available for borrowing books, DVDs, and other material from Lackawanna County libraries. With online ordering through the Lackawanna County Library System Catalog, and curbside pickup, it’s easy and convenient.
Begin by searching the catalog to find what you want. Place a hold on books or other items and choose the library where you want to pick them up. The library will notify you by email (if we have your email address), text (if we have a cell phone number), or telephone when your order is ready.
Each Lackawanna County library has its own procedure for pickup. Open here and use the pulldown menu to locate your library. Follow the instructions for where to go and what to do.
Remember to wear a mask and bring your library card or photo ID when you come for pickup.

If you are uncomfortable using a computer or mobile device to order, call any Lackawanna County library and make your request to a staff person. They will be happy to find what you want and have it ready for curbside pickup.
