Instrument Zoo @ Taylor Community Library
Aug 21 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Ron Geise, music teacher from Riverside JR/SR High School, will bring a few brass and woodwind instruments to the library to talk about them and show the children how to play them.  The children will be able to touch and try to play the instruments.   Ages 7-12.  Registration is required.

Ghostly Tales by Firelight Book Club @ Taylor Community Library

This new monthly book club will feature a fictional book that deals with ghosts or mysterious activities.    For ages 15 and up.  Registration is required.

Wellness Initiative for Senior Education

Are you 60 or older and looking for an opportunity to learn how to stay healthy and meet new people?  Join us and bring a friend!  This six week program offers six lessons that cover a wide range of topics.

Free refreshments and giveaways for participating in the program.

To register, call the library.

This program is administered by Voluntary Action Center and is funded, in part, under a contract with the PA Department of Aging and the Lackawanna County Board of Commissioners through the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging.

Dark Shadows Club @ Taylor Community Library
