Medication Take-Back Event

The Moscow Borough Police Department and the Lackawanna/Susquehanna Office of Drug & Alcohol Programs is hosting a Medication Take-Back Event at the North Pocono Public Library on Saturday, April 20th, from 10 AM until 2 PM.

Bring in your UNUSED and EXPIRED medication to be disposed of properly!

We will be accepting the following:

  • Prescription Medications
  • Over-the-Counter Medications
    • Pain relief
    • Antacids
    • Cold medications
    • Laxatives
  • Eye drops
  • Dietary Supplements
  • Vitamins
  • Herbal Supplements
  • Topical Medication
    • Creams / Ointments
  • Pet Medication

Medicare Counseling

Do you have questions about Medicare?
The APPRISE program will have trained counselors available at the North Pocono Public Library on March 18, April 22, and May 20 from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

What is APPRISE?

APPRISE is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help all Pennsylvanians with Medicare. APPRISE counselors are specially trained staff and volunteers who can answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy-to-understand information.  APPRISE is a free service provided by the PA Department of Aging, and is funded in whole or part by a grant through the Administration for Community Living.
