Winter Challenge Fun!

Feeling a little blue this winter? Time to perk up and join the Winter Challenge at the Abington Community Library! Starting this year, the whole family can participate. The dates of the Winter Challenge are January 8 to February 23.

Instead of a traditional reading club, Winter Challenge will do just that – challenge you! Explore your community in a whole new way as you and your family do different activities to achieve BINGO on your individual cards. Each age group has different prizes but all follow a raffle basket format. Kids can earn raffle tickets for completing a coloring sheet or getting one BINGO on their card. Teens can earn raffle tickets for getting one BINGO on their card and the same for adults who use their BINGO card as their raffle ticket.

A table is set up in the main library for adults and teens to register and pick-up their BINGO cards and children can register in the Children’s Library.

This is a fun and easy way to get the whole family involved at the Library during the cold winter months. Each BINGO card provides a slew of activities to get you up and about. From looking at art, to reading a book, to listening to a podcast, to trying a new recipe, get challenged this winter at the Library!
