Do you have a specialty soup, salad, appetizer, entree, or dessert that is well-known among your friends and family? Nominate yourself (or someone else, with their permission) to be one of our featured Community Cooks for a special fundraiser on Saturday, October 24, from 7-9PM.

At Tasting by the Book attendees may sample delicious food, bid on favorite items to enjoy at a later date, take a chance on prizes, and purchase cookbooks.

Community Cooks must be prepared to donate bite-sized samples for 150 people. They must also be prepared to provide a quantity of the same item, to the highest bidder, between October 2015-September 2016 at a mutually agreed-upon date. Community Cooks will receive one free ticket to the event (value $25). Tasting cups, napkins, forks, tablecloths, and decorations will be provided.
