Friends of the Earth Phase II: Original Sculptures from Recycled Plastic Caps

You have seen the colorful and whimsical sculptures about town this past year made of bottle caps. Members of the Abington Business and Professional Association invite you to participate in a value-added event next year, Friends of the Earth Phase II: Original Sculptures Made from Recycled Plastic Caps.

Under the direction of Diana Lombardi from the Abington Art Studio and Charles Sandercock from Summit Frameworks, two dimensional treated plywood sculptures adorned with plastic caps will be created this fall and available for purchase to be put on display next April. Sculptures will be created at a hands-on workshop to be held at the Abington Community Library. The size of each will be approximately 4’x4’; pick up will be at the Library.

Only ten additional sculptures will be created this year. To reserve yours, you must submit a check made payable to the ABPA, by August 1. The cost is: $100 for ABPA members & $150 for non-members.
