Sign up at any Library

Take the “March Madness Reading Challenge” this month and you might win one of the hottest mobile devices on the market.

To compete, you must read three books during the month. You must choose your books from among 22 categories that include such things as “a book with a one word title,” “a book you can finish in a day,” and “a book you choose by the look of its cover.” As long as you read one from each of three categories, you will be entered in the drawing for the grand prize.

All the categories are listed on the entry form, which can be obtained at any Lackawanna County library.

The grand prize is a Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0 tablet. It received four stars from Matt Swider in TechRadar, and is widely regarded by other industry leaders. There will be additional prizes at each library.

Anyone with a library card can sign up. Librarians have assembled book suggestions for those who want help choosing.
