September Is Library Card Signup Month

Summer ends with Labor Day and kids have already started going back to school. New backpacks, new school shoes, pencil cases and notebooks are on the shopping list. How about a library card?

A library card from the Lackawanna County Library System is a valuable school supply that every child needs. It opens the doors to a vast collection of books, magazines, audio books, films, CDs, lectures and programs for children, tweens, and teens. It also provides access to a world of research, eBooks, audiobooks, tutorials, news and information at our virtual library: www.lclshome.org.

Your student can apply online or in person at any Lackawanna County library.
