The Carbondale Library will be opening the building to the public beginning Monday, January 4th.  We highly encourage patrons to continue using curbside services when applicable.  We will be limiting patron’s stay within the building (including computer time) to 30 minutes a day.  Thank you for your understanding while we continue to provide service while keeping our staff and patron’s safety in mind.

Curbside Hours:
Monday through Thursday – 10am to 6pm
Friday – 10am to 5pm
Saturday – 10am to 2pm

Hours Building is Open to the Public:
Monday through Friday – 11am to 4pm
Saturday – 11am to 2pm

Masks/face coverings must be properly worn while in the building (covering both mouth and nose).  Please continue to practice social distancing.

The second floor will remain closed for now.  A selection of children’s and young adult books are available for you to browse downstairs.  If you need a specific item, please ask us and we will retrieve it for you.

The Carbondale Library offers curbside pickup for those who are not comfortable entering the building.  You can place holds on items through our website, lclshome.org, or by calling the library.  To schedule an appointment, please call ahead of time.  570-282-4281.
