Donate and Discover: North Pocono Public Library’s Book Sale is Just Around the Corner!

Clean off your shelves! Starting Monday, August 28, North Pocono Public Library will begin accepting donations for our annual Book Sale scheduled to take place from October 5 through October 7.

We’re excited to welcome a wide range of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs and find your pre-loved treasures new homes where they’ll provide a fresh discovery and endless hours of enjoyment. However, to ensure the quality of our offerings, we kindly ask that you refrain from donating certain items. We will not accept:

🚫 Cassette tapes
🚫 VHS tapes
🚫 Vinyl records
🚫 Magazines
🚫 Newspapers
🚫 Reference materials ( encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, manuals, etc.)
🚫 Textbooks
🚫 Smelly, stained, and/or moldy items
🚫 Damaged books
🚫 Used coloring books

Remember, every donation is a step towards fostering a vibrant literary culture within our community. So, gather up those books you no longer need and drop them off at our circulation desk during open hours so we can make this year’s Friends of the North Pocono Public Library Book Sale a success!
