In anticipation of the Abington Business & Professional Association’s Wizarding World of Ice Festival (February 16-18), students are encouraged to create their interpretations of Harry Potter and his world and submit them to the Library. Submissions will be accepted during the month of January and be on display for the month of February.
Work will be accepted in the following media: painting, drawing, photography, and 3-D works. Submissions should be no larger than 8 X10 and matted and framed, if possible. Students may get help with framing and matting from the Library.
Submission forms are available at the Library. Open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
“Play is a child’s work.” Interacting with playscapes with themes like Color/Light, Community, Pets, and Transportation will help prepare your preschooler for kindergarten. No registration required; for ages 2-5.
Do you knit or crochet and are looking for come camaraderie? Stop by to help us create useful items for the less fortunate or to be sold to benefit the Library. We’ll even teach you how to knit or crochet and will provide supplies! NOTE: We do not meet on Holidays or when the Library is closed.
