Studio Ghibli Watch Party: Howl's Moving Castle

We are bringing Studio Ghibli to Library Express! Join us for a Ghibli-filled night once a month. December’s movie pick is Howl’s Moving Castle (2004).

Sophie’s life in her late father’s hat shop has been uneventful, but everything changes when she meets wizard Howl, who lives in a magical flying castle. The malevolent Witch of the Waste, however, objects to their developing romance and puts a curse on Sophie, causing her to age prematurely. Now Howl must use all of his magical abilities to defeat the envious hag and restore Sophie’s youth and beauty.
