Friends of Scranton Public Library

Did you know the Friends of the Scranton Public Library host book sales four times a year? And a fun bus trip every spring?
The Friends also sponsor children’s programs like “One Book, Every Young Child” and our popular mini movie series hosted by the library a few times throughout the year.

Now Voyager, Starring Bette Davis, Concludes Great Ladies Film Series Monday, August 24th at 6:30 PM

65297Albright Memorial Library concludes its month-long Great Ladies Film Series on Monday, August 24th at 6:30 PM with the 1942 classic Now, Voyager starring Bette Davis.

The series is being sponsored by the Friends of Scranton Public Library, who are also generously providing refreshments.

All screenings will be held in the Community Room (basement of Lackawanna County Children’s Library).  All screenings are free with your Lackawanna County Library System library card.

Seating is limited, and registration is strongly suggested.
