Winter Pictures at the Library!

Schedule a portrait to support the Valley Community Library this winter!

Pictures will be at the library at 739 River Street, Peckville.

NOVEMBER 9th, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Pictures will be taken with a backdrop only.

NOVEMBER 10th, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
All Pictures will have a special Baking Setup with Props.

Pictures are $15 each.

A digital copy of your picture will be emailed to you as soon as possible, but might take up to 3 weeks.

Art in the Park – Summer 2024

Join the Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Department for their free Art In The Park series at multiple parks throughout the summer. Recycling Challenge Completed with 1072 lbs. of Plastic Collected!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped participate in the Valley Community Library’s Recycling Challenge! We collected 1072 pounds for our second challenge, totaling 1,785 pounds of plastic since we started our project. We officially earned a second bench for the library!
Due to us completing this year’s challenge, we are going to stop collecting plastic temporarily. We might start collecting in the future, but please check our Facebook page for updates! Thank you again for your support!
