This year, a team of three girls from the Nancy Kay Holmes Library competed in the Lackawanna County Library System’s Battle of the Books at Marywood University. On the night of the event, they combined with team members from the Carbondale Public Library and the Valley Community Library to form a winning team for the grades 7-9 category! We wish to congratulate all of the teams and Young Adult Librarians for a job well done. It was a tough competition and everyone put forth a tremendous amount of effort!
Looking forward to next year’s battle,
