Order soup by the quart for you and your family from The Friends of the Valley Community Library. All soups are sold by the quart and come cold so they’re perfect to freeze for a later date. Choices this time are chicken noodle, piggy, and crab bisque. All quarts are $13 each, except crab bisque (made with real crab) is $20. Orders are due by March 19. Cash or check only.

Join the Keystone State Literacy Association at their upcoming storytime at the Viewmont Mall on Saturday, February 14, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. It will be located at the center court, outside JCPenney.
At this free event, there will be special guest readers, visiting characters, free books, crafts, and more! No registration is required.
The Valley Community Library is excited to host its first-ever Fall Fair on Saturday, October 4, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.! We’re inviting all local authors, vendors, and crafters to apply for a spot at our event. There will be other fun activities, including a bake sale, games for kids, and more!

Join the Everhart Museum for a fun, hands-on zine-making workshop! Children will create their very own mini-book using drawing, storytelling, and colorful imagination to explore what makes their world unique. For children ages 6 to 12.

Experience the world of entomology like never before at your local Library this summer! Ryan “The BugMan” Bridge will bring the colorful world of insects to our Lackawanna County Library System locations throughout July, and kids of all ages will have the opportunity to learn how bugs and insects use color to survive and enjoy the opportunity to hold the live bugs he brings. Families are welcome to register for an upcoming program by contacting their Library or by reserving a space using our online events directory.
Join the Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Department for their free Art In The Park series at multiple parks throughout the summer. The Lackawanna County Library System is happy to be a part of this annual event again this year! The free event series is for kids to express themselves through fun art activities.

Puzzle tables are available at Valley Community Library, Abington Community Library, North Pocono Public Library, and Carbondale Public Library.
