Computer Tutor – Thursday, January 12 at 6 PM

computer tutorImpress your teachers this year by visiting Computer Tutor at the Library!

Computer Tutor is an open lab session for children in grades 3-6. Students can work on school projects while learning a different skill such as how to use MLA format for school papers and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.

Ms. Gina will be giving a refresher course on MLA and PowerPoint during this month’s Computer Tutor.

The Lackawanna County Children’s Library was selected for
an exciting new program called the Block Party Project!

When children play with blocks they are learning math, engineering, social skills and so much more!

With this fun new parent/child interactive program, kids will discover the foundation of mathematical and scientific thinking through shapes, learning how blocks can be balanced, observing how they fall
and discovering what fits together. All through playful exploration!
