The Sundays with Friends Events Series proudly presents the Robert Rogers Puppet Company performance of                 The Mouse on the Moon!

Winnie Mouse wants to visit the moon.  But how?  Every night, she gazes through her telescope and wonders, and her friends, Freddie Frog and Jasper Rabbit, want to help.  At first, getting there by spaceship is a tall order.  Then they use their imagination and sense of adventure to give Winnie the trip of her life!

D Sweets: Baking with a Purpose

Join instructor, Deidra Lamont, of D Sweets, for her Baking with a Purpose program. Children will be able to learn how to make an array of baked goods such as cookies, brownies, and cake. This is intended to be a beginner baking program where children will learn something new while having fun. With each baking activity, the children leave with a positive message about what is being made. This message can be focused on their self-esteem, ambitions, and their unique identity.

PA One Book: Saturday by Oge Mora

In this heartfelt and universal story, a mother and daughter look forward to their special Saturday routine together every single week. But this Saturday, one thing after another goes wrong–ruining storytime, salon time, picnic time, and the puppet show they’d been looking forward to going to all week. Mom is nearing a meltdown…until her loving daughter reminds her that being together is the most important thing of all.

Join us  on Wednesday, May 4th at 6PM when we celebrate a special library day with stories, songs, and crafts. The first 15 families to register and come to the program will receive a free hardcover copy of the book.

A Novel Thoughts ZOOM author chat with Jen Calonita

Meet New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Jen Calonita! Over the last fifteen-plus years, Jen has written more than two dozen books about young Hollywood celebrities, kids at sleepaway camp, a girl on the road with her favorite boy band, and several books about kids in Fairy Tale Reform School and Royal Academy Rebels. She loves fairy tales and has even been lucky enough to get to twist some of her favorite Disney versions of fairy tales (as part of the Twisted Tale series).
